Focus Question: does connecting with students around the world using computers mean an end to social dialogue

Introduction:

In the 21st century we have created something called cyberspace. As we know in the past years our parents never had the use of modern technology. If we use technology to find jobs we will never have social meetings instead we will communicate online without meeting in person. I chose to explore this focus question out of the other questions to seek out why we should communicate online when we can just meet with each other to discuss about job opportunities, pollution, organizations etc.
Relating to my introduction another reason why we shouldn’t just interview each other on the internet is because we will never be able to help poor people around the world. If we can’t meet each other in person how will we ever learn of new ideas from people around the globe? understand that time has altered we have changed through our life, each generation had something new to present but why now in the 21st century we have to communicate online? I believe that if we speak with each other using cyberspace then we will never have the time or chance to meet each other.
Social dialogue takes into account each country’s cultural, historical, economic and political context. If we don’t take the initiative we may never have any job opportunities. We have the upper hand because we are in the technology age but we may never unite as a planet if we are bonded to cyberspace forever.

In this site not only did I find the info on my focus question but also on the conditions of social dialogue and why its important.

It is important for us to realize that we all stay together in one world. In this century we may have the technology to help us, but the true help comes from people around the world. To ensure the safety of the planet and its inhabitants we shall learn from each other and help unite as one by holding hands and surviving through hard times.

1. Erase The paragraph on the space ship-youb were not supposed to include anothers student's presentation as your essay. Your essay is based on your own findings from the research websites. Write a paragraph describing what Ryan did to make a change in the lives of people in Africa.

2. Now write a conclusion based on the guidelines from the Essay Structure handout.

I chose to explore this focus question out of the other to see why we should communicate online when we can just meet with each other to discuss about meeting.

I think that if we meet each other using cyberspace then we will never have the time to meet each other.

Findings:

As i continued with my research i have read ryan's article regarding the poor having no water. this relates to my focus question because if were not to meet each other we wouldn't be like Ryan. if we can't have social dialogues we will never help the earth and its inhabitants.

The Value of Reflective student portfolios

Last year when Mr. Peter announced that we would start blogging i was fascinated and excited because back then i knew that by doing this it would help improve my English and comprehension skills. As time went on i grew with knowledge and improved a lot in these activities. When i was uploading my blog i thought, "Hey will my colleagues pass good comments?"

This year i will show my parents and teachers that i can make them happy. This year i will be talking about all my academic results and inquiry.

I have began my journey through life as a mere infant to a mature adult and to continue till the end of time.
